Carpenter Northwest provides training and consulting services for fighting fires in the marine environment. Aboard vessels and in marinas, the hazards faced by firefighters are different than those commonly encountered in structural firefighting. Our training provides firefighters and mariners with the knowledge and skills to assess these fires, identify the hazards and provide an appropiate response. Port authorities and marina operators should understand the limitations of their fire departments at a marine response. Carpenter Northwest will work with fire departments and port authorites or marina operators to identify hazards and plan responses.
